Cloud-a-Day is an educational and reference app that introduces users to the fascinating world of clouds. With stunning photographs and detailed descriptions, this app is a comprehensive guide to identifying 40 different cloud formations and 18 optical effects caused by clouds.
The app allows users to build their cloud collection by snapping photos of their own cloud spottings and saving them within the app. In a future update, users will also be able to earn stars and achievements and view pictures from other cloudspotters around the globe.
Cloud-a-Day provides helpful tools for cloud identification, including the Cloud Identifier feature. By uploading a photo, users can utilize the CloudSpotter AI to analyze the image and provide an identification. Additionally, the Step-by-step Wizard guides users through a series of questions to help identify the most likely cloud formations.
Subscribing members of the Cloud Appreciation Society can also log in to access their Cloud-a-Day emails, which feature photographs by society members, cloud science insights, sky quotations, and information about sky-related art.
